Pixie

Pixie is now in search of her forever home…

This gorgeous girl has come on leaps and bounds in foster care - from a little girl climbing the bars to accepting fuss at ground level - but we know the transition into a home won’t be all plain sailing. Please don’t be swayed by her adorable looks alone, Pixie is in need of an experienced and quiet home where she can build trust at her own pace. She’s a little baby who needs lots of love, care, reassurance and the space to forge bonds in a slow and measured way.

Whilst she is quite settled in her foster cabin, this is nowhere near how life will be living within a home (she hasn’t yet been exposed to home life) and during this transition, she will need to be kept safe and secure and given the time she needs to adjust. Once she knows you and does feel secure, she’s an absolute love bug - but this will take time.

With the aforementioned in mind, we don’t think Pixie will suit a home with children as their expectations will likely not be met - and if she does feel threatened, there is every possibility she could swipe in fear, so we’d rather mitigate this from the beginning.

As with every potential adoption, we will be on hand to provide advice and guidance throughout but there has to be the element of commitment from the adopters that they will give Pix the space and time we know she will need.

We are looking for the absolutely perfect home for Pixie, she is such a special soul, we know how incredible she is and just how she will flourish within the right environment.

Pixie is completely rehome ready, she has been spayed, flea and worm treated, fully vaccinated and has had a full heath check. Vets guesstimate her to be just over 1.

If you’d like to be considered to adopt Pixie, you can apply by completing our application form.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process. Every cat deserves the opportunity to be provided with the required veterinary treatment should they need it during times of illness or injury.
