Our cutie Cole (aka ‘Batty’ due to his adorable fangs) is still in search of his forever home.
Cole came into our care back in March 2025, having been straying for some time. Timid and frightened, he hauled himself up in a tight cosy spot and didn’t want to move. As the days progressed, he began to enjoy treats and fuss.
Cole is such a funny boy, he will give off the occasional habitual hiss to any new faces, there is no malice, it’s just when he’s feeling a little off guard. Once he knows and trusts you, he is the best companion you could wish for.
Cole is a young boy, vets guesstimate over one, although he could be a touch older. All Cole needs in life is reassurance and safety, given that he will flourish.
We think he may regress a little with a move as he will have to learn to trust and feel safe again. With this in mind, he’ll need a space of his own initially, where his new owners can go sit and build up this trust, but once he knows he’s safe, he’ll be your best friend, he loves nothing more than to cosy up on a lap for plentiful fuss and cuddles.
Since being in our care Cole has been neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated and fully vaccinated. He had an eye infection back in March which was treated and hasn’t since reoccurred. When stressed he can nibble at his tail, although again, he hasn’t done this for some time but we can help advise and guide if this does occur following a move into his new home.
Cole does not like other cats at all, he has been cat tested numerous times, so sadly, we are looking for a feline free home for him please.
We will consider all applications, as always, on a case by case basis, although the need for a patient and relaxed home is imperative to ensure he feels safe. Reassurance is key here, and away from main roads please.
If you think you have the perfect home for Cole, please do get in touch by completing our application form.
Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process. Every cat deserves the opportunity to be provided with the required veterinary treatment should they need it during times of illness or injury.
