Dora & Edwin

Dora and Edwin are a delightful adult duo.

We believe they’re siblings, around 4 years old however they may be a little older.

The pair were rescued from an horrendous hoarding situation by the RSPCA inspectorate. As such, it has taken months to gain their trust.

This adorable pair are so gentle, never a hiss or a swipe, just a little unnerved at times - wholly understandable given their background.

Edwin still doesn’t want to let anyone close but he will come into the room when you’re in there and he loves toys and treats. Dora will be initially timid, however once settled, she’s the biggest fuss pot and absolutely has lapcat tendencies - she just needs the home and a lap to give her the opportunity to show her true loving character.

Once in a patient and loving home, we hope they will thrive and hopefully Edwin will gain in confidence and also allow humans close.

We’re therefore looking for a very special home for them. A home that will allow Dora to settle and have all the fuss she loves whilst being understanding that Edwin, although completely gentle, will want to keep you at arm’s length. We have no idea how far he will come, only time will tell. We hope he will one day allow someone close though potential adopters should understand that he may always be one who tries to keep himself to himself.

Both Dora and Edwin are now rehome ready - neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, flea’d and wormed.

If you can offer this adorable duo their forever home, please complete our adoption form.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process.
