Adorable Emilio is looking for his forever home.
Emilio, 10, recently found his world turned upside down when his elderly owner, who utterly adored him, had to move into care. He sadly found himself on the streets where he was thankfully fed by kind neighbours.
Emilio began sheltering from the wintery weather in a box in someone’s garden. It couldn’t get any more heartbreaking, from warmth and love to cold and lonely. Our hearts absolutely break; he must have been so confused and frightened.
Needless to say, when space in rescue allowed, he was safely brought into our care and all that remains to be done is his vaccine course, which he’ll be starting very soon.
As you’ll see in the video below that he gets a little overstimulated at times - but never with any malice, he’s still adjusting to foster life. We know he’ll be the biggest lap cat and love bug going once given time to settle. Time, patience, stability and most of all love and reassurance is all that’s needed here.
We don’t know Emilio has ever lived with other cats - we don’t believe so - so he may not tolerate existing felines. However, we will review all applications on a case by case basis, as we always do.
