Raven

We’re so delighted to introduce our beautiful Raven - a complete love bug, yet still insecure after all he’s endured.

Raven has just started to feel safe after an unknown amount of time on the streets, fending for himself. For the first few weeks, he just rested, slept and rested. We know there hasn’t been many times in the past where he’d have felt safe to completely bed down without one eye open.

He’s been through so much in his short life so we’d love to find a secure and stable future with a family who will utterly adore him, as any owner(s) should. He deserved the world and then some.

Raven’s story

We were alerted to Raven when we were searching for a little black female, sadly to no avail. Instead of the cat we were hoping to trap, Raven walked in, hungry and in need of a good meal. Little did he know, from that moment, his life changed forever. Initially after intake he was very shut down, frightened and timid, although, as time has passed, he’s gained our trust and confidence.

His fosterer adores him and in her words “he needs a home with people that are going to love and spoil him to bits!”

We believe he'd do well in a family home with older children (over 10 years old) that will play with him and fight over which bed he's going to spend the night on, showing him he's never going to be alone again. He follows his fosterer around like a little pup, just wanting to be with her, and loves nothing more than sitting and watching whatever it is you’re doing. Raven craves the company of his humans, he's incredibly playful - but loud noises still frighten him.

He can be quite territorial over his space so may slot in well with a calm and friendly female feline but unlikely with a male. We do feel for ease of rehoming, he may be best in a home where he’s the only cat. However, we will look openly at all applications.

Raven just needs a home where he can have a settling in space initially - a separate room where he can feel completely safe, with familiar items from his current foster space to help him acclimatise. Once he’s had a while to settle and find his paws, he can then have the whole home opened up slowly. It will be a slow burn, but one absolutely worth waiting for.

If you feel Raven could be the perfect match for you, please complete our adoption form. We will consider all applications that are aware from busy roads.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process.
