Olive

Meet our love bug Olive!

Olive was reported by a concerned member of the public, living outside with four kittens.
Another rescue helped with the initial trapping as the kittens were clearly unwell and a priority, however we offered to help mum as soon as a foster space became available.

Initially, Olive was kept with her kittens however it soon became apparent this was causing her distress. The kittens were around five months old and having been confined with them for some time, we could fully understand her need for her own space - this isn’t uncommon in these situations. As soon as we were able, we gave her just that and she’s been much happier ever since.

Olive is a young cat, under two years of age. Due to raising her kittens outside she was very unsure and quiet when she first came into care, but once settled - and on realising she was safe - she allowed herself to have some much needed love and affection.

Olive is has become very much a love bug! Such a sweet, loving cat and so deserving of her own home where she can settle and thrive. We know from moving her into a new space in foster care she will regress a little with a move to her forever home - so she will need time and patience to settle. But we know your patience will eventually be rewarded with a beautiful, loving girl.

Due to Olive being confined with her kittens for such a long time, we’d ideally like to find her a home as the only cat. Olive will be spayed and vaccinated before rehoming. If you think this could be with you then please complete our adoption form.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process. If you think you have the purrfect home to offer this lovely sweet girl then we would love to hear from you!
