Every great adventure deserves a place to call home…
Our ‘Lord of the Rings’ family are ready to begin their next chapter, and we’re hoping a little magic will help them find their forever homes. Meet girls Pearl (all ginger), Eleanor (ginger and white) and Rosie (tortie, just like her mum!); boys Sam (ginger and white) and Frodo (black and white) and mum Arwen (tortie).
The whole crew are currently with fosterer Liz, with the girls especially having developed an unbreakable sisterhood!
After watching their friendships blossom, we have a rather special wish (or three): to find a home where our three girls can stay together, brothers Sam and Frodo stay together, and a calm sanctuary for Arwen to call her own.
Let’s start with the girls:
Pearl is the sweetest little soul, with a quiet, friendly nature. She enjoys playing and joining in the fun, although things can feel a little overwhelming when the others get too boisterous. There’s a lovely gentleness about her.
Eleanor is the shyest of the kittens around people, but beneath that is an adventurous heart. She’s often the first to chase a new toy or investigate something unfamiliar. When she feels comfortable, her curiosity works its own little magic.
Rosie knows her own mind. Whether she’s playing or enjoying a fuss, it’s always on her terms! A keen explorer, she’s usually first through a newly opened door or into an intriguing box—because every good adventure begins with a little curiosity.
We know welcoming a trio is a big ask, but these girls are truly inseparable. Whenever we try to imagine a pairing, there’s always one precious little soul left out. Their bond is something beautiful, and we would love their next adventure to be one they share.
The boys
Sam is the friendliest, purriest member of the family, always ready to say hello - especially when food might be involved. Like his hobbit namesake, he would happily make time for second, third and fourth breakfast if only we’d let him!
Frodo prefers to pause and take in the world before deciding whether to join the adventure. He’s a thoughtful little observer, although the promise of a treat can make that decision surprisingly easy.
Sam and Frodo are also looking for a home together. They love a good tumble, plenty of play and a little mischief. Though very different in character, they make the perfect little fellowship.
And then there’s wonderful mum, Arwen.
Only young herself, she brought five kittens into the world and kept them safe outdoors—a remarkable feat for such a little cat. Her days of keeping watch over her family are behind her now, and we believe she would thrive in a home of her own, with calm, kindness and all the time she needs.
Arwen is still reserved, and understandably so. She deserves a gentle new chapter, where nothing is asked of her except to settle in, feel safe and discover who she can be when she no longer has to be brave.
She is still learning that people can offer more than a well-timed meal. She watches her foster mum playing with her kittens, looking as though she’d love to join their fun, but hasn’t quite found the courage yet. She needs someone who will give her time, cherish the small steps and let her come forward at her own pace.
All six have now had their full health checks and everything they need to be rehome ready. Now all that’s missing is a place to belong.
