Our darling Smudge is now looking for her forever home.
If you follow us on socials, you may recall Smudge was taken to the vets by a concerned member of the public due to issues with her mouth. Sadly, when her owners were contacted by the vets, they refused to collect her and said they no longer wanted her.
From the moment we heard of her plight, we knew we had to help. No little oldie deserves to be left homeless and in discomfort, so even through the challenging times we face in rescue, we committed to helping her, in one way or another.
She has settled beautifully into her foster home; she walked in and it was as though she’d been there all her life.
Smudge is just over nine years old and we’ve recently supported with a dental where she had seven extractions which were causing her discomfort and pain. She pulled at all the heart strings in the vets as she awaited her treatment and foster space.
She is now looking for her forever lap and her final place to call home.
Smudge adores snoozing away her days, soaking up the rays of sunshine as they come beating through the window and onto the soft carpet beneath her fur.
She is such an easy going, gentle soul who wants for very little in life, just lovely food, a cosy spot to sleep and most importantly, companionship.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process. Every cat deserves the opportunity to be provided with the required veterinary treatment should they need it during times of illness or injury.
