Bingo

Beautiful Bingo is looking for his forever home!

Our gorgeous boy had been living on his wits for the last two years, having been lost (an unneutered tom who clearly went roaming). He turned up locally and was looked out for by a lovely family. They had him scanned for a chip - which was present - and we managed to locate owner. Sadly, their circumstances had changed and they could no longer keep him, so he was signed over into our care.

Shortly after his arrival, Bingo was neutered and had all his awful, tight matted fur removed as it was making him so sore and uncomfortable. We’ve spent the last few months closely monitoring Bingo, looking at his behaviours and working out exactly what kind of home he needs. Bingo has really come out of his shell, nervous to begin with and would occasionally let off a little hiss and the odd tap with his paw, but never any aggression. He just needed to learn to trust new faces and begin to have the life he’s always deserved.

Bingo is a super friendly chap, who loves a fuss. He may regress slightly with a move, so will need a patient and understanding home where he can be allowed to settle and acclimatise at his own pace. We don’t think it will take him long.

We know he’s a lap cat in the making, he does love to give lots of head bumps and is friendly in so many ways; once settled in a home environment again we know he’ll thrive!

Bingo has been ‘cat tested’, to an extent and has been known to charge at some of his fosterer’s cats, not all, passing his catio. Whilst this may just be a guarding of his territory, it would make us hugely wary rehoming to any home with other felines present.

Bingo has also seen his fosterer’s Labrador when he frequents the garden. He has very much got used to his presence although he was initially a little perturbed when he was close by. At this stage we wouldn’t rule out homes with cat friendly dogs and will consider all applications on a case-by-case basis. Bingo really deserves his chance to again find happiness.

If you have a Bingo shaped hole in your life and would like to be considered to give this incredible boy his second chance, please complete our adoption form.

Bingo had his full vaccine course - he wasn’t too sure on his first experience but for his second vaccine he was climbing all over the vet’s computer to explore and get cuddles!

Bingo has also been castrated, flea’d and wormed so is now ready to start the search for his happy ever after.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process.
