Willow - RESERVED

Willow is a young rabbit that was found as a stray. Sadly, she was in a terrible state when she was found - underweight, badly urine stained and her fur was horribly matted. Thankfully, once in foster care, Willow soon improved. We clipped her matted fur and she now enjoys a good diet so has put weight on

We soon discovered that Willow was not responsive to noise - vets believe her to be either completely deaf or very hard of hearing. With this in mind, we ensure that she is approached from the side so she’s aware we’re there so not to startle or frighten her.

Willow is a gentle rabbit and is looking for a home with someone that already has a neutered and vaccinated male bunny so that she has a companion. Ongoing bonding help and advice will be given.

Willow is currently indoors but still has accidents outside of her litter tray, so whilst litter training is still in progress, it wouldn't be advisable for her to be indoor free-roam unless you are ok with little
bunny puddles!

Willow is spayed and approx. 12 months old. She will need a spacious indoor pen area or she could also be integrated into a large outdoor living space. She’s a digger, so any enclosures do need to be made very secure.

Please note we only rehome to RWAF size standards of living. Lots of information on size requirements and enrichment suggestions can be found on their website: https://rabbitwelfare.co.uk/space-recommendations/

if you think you could offer Willow her forever home please complete our adoption form.

Please note with the increase in cost of veterinary treatment we now require adopters to take out relevant insurance - we will provide more information during the adoption process.
