Larry NOW RESERVED

Poor little Larry had been straying in the Wollescote area of Stourbridge for more than 6 months and he went all through the cold and snow being out and having to fend for himself...we also know hes been in the wars with kind members of the public taking him to the vets to be treated for war wounds...so we know he's had a tough little life to date We believe he's only about 4-6yrs old and because of his background and what hes been through he is quite nervous in new situations - this is what makes this even sadder to write as we had found Larry a new home which he had settled into well. But sadly since being rehomed Larry has developed a skin allergy. We are treating this under our vet at our cost and are happy to continue to do so but at the moment he needs a daily tablet and follow up vet visits and his new owner does not feel she can keep up with this commitment. His skin is improving a lot though with the tablets.   If anyone feels they could open up their heart and home to Larry then we will obviuosly discuss this further as we really need the next move to be his forever home. This little cat has has enough upheaval in his life and we need someone who can give him total stability no matter what. Larry is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming   Larry is likely to regress again when he moves and his owners are going to need to be patient with him and just let him settle in his own time...he needs to learn to trust humans again and know that they will be kind to him. Larry seems to be initially more comfortable with men so a retired quiet gentleman/couple would be absolutley ideal for him. We need to find someone who can set him up in his own little space, let him find his feet and then explore his new environment in his own time and at his own pace. He needs to be an only cat as we do not know how he is with other animals and we cant afford his next move to go wrong again, and the stress of moving into an environment with a resident cat we feel could make his skin condition flare up again If you heart goes out to Larry and you are interested in offering him a quiet loving home then please do get in contact
