A new feature for our site, a monthly record of all the animals in our care that find their new forever homes.
We have now redesigned our rehoming pages to provide you with a 'quick view' of the animals we have in our care. We haven't removed the detailed pages, as they are still important for you to understand the character of the animals and the type of home each individual needs....but you can now click through from the quick view page to see the detail only on those animals you may be interested in. We hope you enjoy this new enhancement to our site.
We often have a number of black kittens and cats in our care, sadly they can be overlooked for other colours and can be in foster care for quite a long time, read more about black cats and kittens here...Take a look at our 'Find a Pet' pages to see if we currently have any black cats or kittens.
RSPCA Stourbridge & District Branch - Rehoming rescue cats, dogs and small animals in the Stourbridge area.
Like every other RSPCA branch in England and Wales, the Stourbridge and District Branch is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA and we are primarily responsible for raising funds locally. This means that most of the money we spend on rescue cats, dogs and other small animals within the Stourbridge area, must be raised by us in the Stourbridge area.
The Branch is run by a committee of trustee's who oversee the branch activities. There are no paid members of staff within the branch; everyone works on a voluntary basis.
Our volunteers are the backbone of the branch and without them, the branch could not function.
Because we do not have an animal rescue centre at Stourbridge, all of our cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs are in foster care. We rely 100% on our volunteer fosterers to look after our animals until they get a new home.
All our fundraising work is done by a group of volunteers in their spare time. Fundraising activities include tin shakes at supermarkets, craft stalls, fashion shows and quiz nights.
